Kia ora Madison,
ReplyDeleteIt is great to see that you have done your research and identified three really cool facts about New Zealand. We certainly do live in a very multi-cultural country that was originally founded by the Maori and by the European settlers. The Maori were the first people to arrive in New Zealand and to make it their permanent home. The European settlers came later and, together, the Maori and the Europeans have had to figure out how to live together in harmony. It is not an easy task but we are constantly working to find ways to make it possible and successful. I wonder what life in New Zealand will be like in another hundred years. Do you think that it will be every more multi-cultural than it is now? It will be so interesting to see how things evolve and change over the coming years...
Keep up the great work, Madison. You're learning a lot about New Zealand and teaching us important things along the way :)
Cheers,
Rachel
