Facts About Pandas?

Pandas can be found in the wonderful countries of China and Japan.
Pandas are very easy to spot, they are white and black. The first Pandas where discovered in
1869 the 11th of March. Jia Jia was known to be the world’s oldest giant panda.
She was about 38 years old.

Your probably wondering what pandas eat, pandas are known to to be carnivores,
but they would rather collect bamboo. Bamboo is know to be a pandas favourite food but
meat is another option.  

In the wild, the giant pandas sleep for 2 to 4 hours between its two meals.
Pandas favorite sleeping poses include lying flat on their backs, lying on their sides,
lying on their stomachs, stretching their paws and rolling themselves up into balls.

About 2,000 pandas are found in the wild, did you also know that giant pandas aren’t
actually pandas. Now your probably wondering what are they then, well they are actually
bears.  However pandas are apart of the bear family, they are big, fluffy and sometimes scary
just like normal bears. Did you know that pandas can poop as much as 28 kilos per each day.
In the past the undigested bamboo pieces in the poop were made into picture frames and
bookmarks. But the no the bamboo did not smell at all.That is all the facts you need to know about pandas.

Year 7 Team Building

Last week on the 15th, 16th, and 17th of may the year 8's were away on camp. While the year eights were on camp the year 7's and a few year 8's stayed back and did team building with us. On Wednesday we got put into three groups, in our groups we had to come up with a team name each. My team name was the Crazy Horses. The other team names were Point England OG's and Lil Homies. Me and Lillyana came up with Crazy Horses, I came up with crazy and she came up with horses. My favourite day during year 7 team building was Friday. Friday was my favourite day because my team got to make truffles and we also played relays. Then the teachers added up all the points to see who had the most. In 3rd place was the Crazy Horses, in 2nd place was Lil Homies, and in 1st place was Point England OG's. Then after prize giving we had a shared lunch, it was probably the biggest shared lunch i've ever seen. Everybody had to bring something to help with the shared lunch I brought a packet of chips and 2 packets o toffee pop biscuits.

Task Description: This week Room 2 math's learnt about graphs, quadrants, points, and symmetry. For our task we had to find a five sided shape, and draw it on our piece of paper. Then once we drew the shape, we had to use numbers to find the coordinates for a, b, c, d, and e. Then soon we found the coordinates.

Task Description: This week for inquiry, Room 2 have been learning about countries from Africa. We also learnt about animals from the countries. So we had to pick a country from Africa and a animal from that country. My country was Tanzania and my animal was a Elephant.

I'm Bored

It was a nice breezy afternoon in the neighborhood of Molesworth Mangawhai Heads. The sun was shining bright in the sky, birds were chirping. Leaves were falling, it was just a normal day. There were three siblings one sister and two brothers. The sisters name was Susan, and the two brothers names were Jaxson and Alex. Susan was the oldest, leaving Alex the middle child and Jaxson the youngest.

Susan, Alex, and Jaxson were full of boredom only watching the television. Suddenly, Alex had a idea but not any idea. His idea was to order and toy cart off Ebay, from his parents phone. Susan and Jaxson thought it was a crazy idea but they had nothing else to do. Alex was looking on Ebay for toy carts, until he saw a toy cart for free. He quickly ordered the cart and returned his parents phone. The cart was going to arrive next day with not payment for shipping.

The next day the toy cart had arrived, Alex had no time to waste! Alex quickly unboxed the cart and so did Susan. The cart was sparkling red with a tint of black. But there was one problem not all of them could fit inside it was so small. Alex, Jaxson and even Susan didn’t care. Susan jumped on the front, Jaxson hopped in the back and Alex was pushing.

Alex started pushing with all his energy forgetting the huge hill that goes STRAIGHT DOWN. Then within seconds Alex was no longer touching the ground he was is mid air the cart was slowing hovering in air falling back down in seconds.

Until Jaxson spotted the brakes, he tried pushing the brakes but he was just not strong enough! So Susan gave a big push stopping the cart. But where was Alex? Alex had let go rolling on to the grass, leaving him with bruises and lumps all over his body. But it was the best experience ever, the end.

Task Description: Today my task was to tell a story looking a picture, making up my own story. But this was not any story it was a narrative story written by me!

Task Description: This week for writing/reading I had to tell the main events of Goldilocks and the three bears. Goldilocks and the three bears is a very famous, narrative story. The characters in the story is Goldilocks, Papa Bear, Mama, Bear, and Baby bear.
