Taha HInengaro - Te Whare Tapa Wha

For this taha hinengaro task I had to do happy, fun, and boring in sign-language to describe my emotions. For happy you kind of rub your hands together, for fun you do a thumbs up and touch your chin then you bring your thumbs down just in front of your chest. For boring you just do a big high five but put your fingers together and then do the same thing and put your hand on your chin and bring it down in front of your chest 2x.

Games Master - Fun Friday

 Today we got visited by games master which is a group of people that play games. But because of Covid-19 unfortunately we couldn't meet all the games mater people. But we got to meet one person who is a girl her gaming name is soy sauce. The game we played was about a boy named T and his problems with his family. T doesn't get along with his biological dad Dave. But he also doesn't get along with his step dad Bryan, and his step sister Becca. T also wants to spend time with his mum Maeraea but sadly she keeps on ignoring him. T also has a best friend Jack who helps him with his problems but sometimes can't take it. In the game we had 4 lives and we had to find out the password for the game which we found out was "Every Child Has Hopes And Dreams. We also had to try get bonus points in the game and we got 16 bonus points. At the end we received cards and badges from the game.

The Battle Of The Shark And The Octopus - Literacy Summary

There was a Fijian God named Takuaka, he is a high god of Fiji and the guardian of the reef. As Takuaka is a god he could transform into a shark, so that he can travel from island to island, just to defeat other guardians from the reefs. Takuaka meet his old friend who is also a god Masilata. Masilata told Takuaka that there is another strong guardian that guards Kamatuvú Islands. Takuaka went looking for this guardian and soon they were battling. But this time it was different it was a octopus with 8 tentacles. Takuaka was struggling and knew he was gonna be defeated, he begged the guardian to let him go and Takuaka promised he won't hurt anymore people. So he did, the guardian let him go and left Takuaka keeping his promise.

Time Warp By Seb Darr - Reading


For this task I had to read the story Time Warp by Seb Darr, this was a fiction story so it was made up. I had to summarise what the story was about then, say why I think Jack changed his mind about history.
